JBL Micro Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

Sound quality is much better than my cellphone's built in speaker (galaxy note). You can feel the bass and sound quality is good. It is basically more than enough for room and indoor used if loudness is the concern. Portability is the great factor to buy this. It is lightweight and it comes with a pouch. You can opt to use 3.5mm wire or just connect it via bluetooth. It is has an internal lithium battery.

Ravpower Turbo+ Powerbank 20100 mah

Gadgets today are quite power grabber, battery usually doesn't last long. The faster the device, the more power it needs. Powerbanks were invented for this situation, power on the go. Charging without the need of charger and outlet. The common powerbanks are single usb port, slow charging speed and low capacity.

As I experienced the same problem, I looked for the requirements I need. Fast charging (Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0), 2-3 charging ports, large ampere hour capacity  and lightweight.

Some of my candidates for the powerbanks I need are Anker, Aukey, Pivoful, Tronsmart, Ravpower, and Momax.

My top 3 list were: Pivodul, Tronsmart and Ravpower.

If budget was not my concern I will definitely chose among Anker, Aukey or Momax.

I chose Ravpower Turbo+ 20100 mah.

The box is neat and it includes welcome and support information like hello, happy or sad.

Contains QR code and serial number for verification of authenticity.

The packages includes:

- pouch / case
- 2 USB Type A cable
- 1 micro usb to type c adaptor

My short review after using this for 1 month:

PROS:
- Nice packaging and premium materials used
- 2 USB cable
- Type C Adapter
- Case/Pouch
- Fast charging 2 usb ports + type c port (output)
- fast powerbank charging (input) using QC 3.0 port, 4-4.5 hrs
- lightweight compared to other 20,000 mah powerbank
- cheaper compared to other competitors

CONS:
- no usb type c to type c cable
- no charger for the powerbank, use your cellphone charge
- type c input is slow for charging even using fast charger or QC 3.0 charger (I though this would be faster thank quick charge
- powerbank heats up when charing it in the type c input
- it charge my Note 8 around 3-3.5 time

WISH:
- it has batter level indicator (percent)
- it has fast charging via type c port
- it has type c to type c usb cable
- it has its own fast charger

Uber No More in the Philippines

After Uber officially selling their share in Southeast Asia to Grab there will be no Uber App starting April 16, 2018.

Philippines was one of the affected country of the Uber-Grab deal. Uber will just ask for commission to Grab of 27.5 %.

Philippine Competition Commission  (PCC) is against this Uber-Grab deal but Uber has to stop operating anymore according to LTFRB.

We are left with Grab for now.  LTFRB said there will be three more TNC players coming so monopoly will be prevented.

After Uber being offline, complaints on the fare setting of Grab arises. Some are higher fare compare to Uber. Another is the recent 2 pesos per minute charge.

Uber will be missed, I hope to ride with you again in the future. Nothing compares to Uber.
